DF Sauces, Condiments, and Other Prep

It’s the sauces, mate. Yes, the main course usually has the marinade, seasoning, or other prep, but if the sauces don’t measure up, then prepare for disappointment. For THESE sauces, however, you should prepare for bliss, ecstacy, euphoria, elation, etc.

A note on the Wild Harvest brand: It looks like they are very aware and concerned with “undesirable ingredients”. Check this out.

You’ll see these disclaimers on this site often:

  • When necessary, the recipes on this site are modified to be gluten-, dairy-, peanut-, corn-, xanthan gum-, and other- free. The ingredients I used for substituting have improved greatly over the last decade or two, so you can be sure that these recipes are safe and deliciously damned fine.
  • Because I am a retired college professor, I am accustomed to citing my sources. Nevertheless, I missed many of the early recipes’ sourcing. Nearly all the recipes on this site are not originally mine. Originally, I intended these recipes to be used only within my kitchen’s 4 walls, but, due to the rave reviews from my family and my family’s coworkers (when they reheated the dishes for lunches), I’ve been convinced to share them. Since I now have a larger audience, I have made every attempt to provide the website from which I originally got these damned fine recipes. If anyone recognizes these recipes and can provide the source, I would be extremely grateful.
