Ginger-Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. salmon, cut into approximately 4×5-inch steaks
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • 2 T maple syrup or honey
  • 1 T Lemon juice
  • 2 T Minced garlic
  • 2 t Paprika
  • 1 T Minced ginger
  • Dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Rinse the salmon and pat it dry.
  2. Rub the salmon with olive oil and season with salt.
  3. Fry salmon for 10 minutes at 390° F.
  4. Make the glaze:  In a small bowl, mix maple syrup or honey, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, paprika, and pepper.
  5. Brush glaze on the salmon and fry for another minute or until it flakes.
