This recipe is adapted for my family’s tastes.
Ingredients
- 1 t Sesame oil
- 2 T Minced garlic
- 2 T Minced ginger (or 1 t powdered)
- 2 T Hoisin Sauce
- 1 t Soy sauce
- 1 T Red wine vinegar
- ½ t Gochujang sauce
- 4 T honey
Direction
- In a medium saucepan, mix the sesame oil, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, white wine, gochujang sauce, and honey on medium-high heat until simmering for a minute.
- If you wish, you can transfer it (when cooled sufficiently) to a blender and make it super smooth. For me, though, it’s fine.
- Store any remaining in a glass jar.
