Ingredients
For Cajun Seasoning
- 1 T Paprika
- ½ T Sea salt
- ½ T Garlic powder
- 1 t Onion powder
- 1 t Chili powder
- ¾ t Thyme
- ½ t Oregano
- ½ t Brown sugar or coconut sugar
- ¼ t Cayenne pepper
For Steak
- 2 lbs. Steak, cut into cubes (something tender like tenderloin, etc.)
- 2 T Vegetable oil (divided)
- ¼ cup Miyoko’s butter
- 2 T Garlic, minced
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients for the Cajun seasoning in a medium sized bowl.
- Add the steak bites and toss to evenly coat.
- Heat 2 T oil in the electric skillet, on medium-high, until hot.
- Sear the steak bites in batches, 2-3 minutes each side, until the edges are crispy and browned. Add extra oil as needed. Set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium.
- Add butter to the skillet and heat until melted.
- Sauté the chopped garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds) while scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
- Turn off the heat and add the steak bites back in. Toss through the sauce to evenly coat.
- Serve warm.
